My family has been to ECWG a couple of times since it opened and have been very pleased with both the service and quality of food. We especially enjoyed the pub pretzels - which have a very light texture with a great pretzel taste. My wife also enjoyed the Mongolian beef salad - which she also allowed me to have a bite. I've read a couple of the negative reviews and I feel they are very off base. Our server was great and checked on us often, refilled drinks often and generally seemed to care for our family having an enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back and you should give it a try too!

Great staff and food! Tremendous selection on menu, not too loud and great amenities like iPads for the kids!

I would love to give them 5 stars because the food was really good. My wife had the chicken tenders and they were very good. She ordered the 5 piece and the portion size was excellent for the price. I had 15 wings (5 each of the hottest under the Insanity Wing). They were all great. I also tried the insanity wing and it packs a punch but is edible. It is definitely hotter than the Triple Atomic at QS&L which I used to feel was the standout for these types of restaurants. Only issue was service and we went early afternoon with no crowd. The whole service was slow. Our appetizer was slow, food was slow, bill was slow, wing challenge was slow, you get the point. Waitress was great, friendly, knowledgeable about everything we asked, brought drink refills, etc. Just seamed like we waited for things but I am giving them a bye today on that because everything else was well above par! Will definitely go back soon (live 1 1/2 hours away) and take friends! Looking forward to changing the 4 stars to 5! Overall, great experience!

I ordered a carryout of boneless wings. I live only 5 minutes from the restaurant and when I got home I was totally disappointed that the wing coating was completely soggy. The wings had a very thick coating. Much too thick for my liking. Tried to call back two times and let the phone ring 10 times each time but there was no answer. The time was around 3:30 when I purchased the wings and there was only a few people in the restaurant. Not sure why they didn't answer the phone.

We frequent this ECW quite often and this was our worst experience. When we walked in, nearly every table was dirty but there were only 15-20 people eating in the entire restaurant. They shoved a high-top handicap accessible table together with a low-top regular table, creating an awkward middle section for our (delicious) beer cheese appetizer. Our table got a mixture of wings, soup, fries, and wraps. The big basket of fries was cold, along with some of the wings. After eating about 2-3 wings each, all three of us that ordered wings bit into a raw piece of chicken. A bowl of buffalo chicken soup was brought out that was not much like the one in the pictures (see attached photo). In fact, it sat in the kitchen so long that the soup had separated and the waitress said "I'm going to go get you another soup, because this one looks disgusting". The second soup they brought out looked slightly better, but still not up to par. After sending it back for a second time, they brought out a bowl that more closely resembled the one on the menu. I will say the manager did try to make it up to us by sending our food back, ensuring it was cooked properly and giving us the opportunity for free desserts or appetizers (even though, in my opinion, the entire order should have been complimentary). Unfortunately, we ordered the S'more dessert, but they were all out. So, we settled with the giant cookie and ice cream. However, in usual East Coast Wings style, the entire cookie beneath the top layer was raw. Luckily, I love cookie dough so I didn't fuss about this one. UPDATE: Dad is pretty sick after his raw piece of chicken... Happy birthday, dad! Thanks a lot ECW.

Hats off to East Coast Wings for a terrific meal and time last night at bike night. Food was great, staff and management was superb. Special thanks to Bag Dragger Customs for sponsoring this event. Complete change from when East Coast Wings first opened for the better. Will be back for more good food and great service!

Eh. Went for a business lunch and ended up waiting over an hour for our food. The server was decent, but the lack of refills and the wait was enough for us to say never again. On a side note: the fried pickles with beer cheese was delightful. Maybe I should just order them "to-go".

Nice selection of wings and craft beers on tap. 75 wing flavors and 10 levels of heat. Wait staff and management team very efficient and personable. Several TVs in bar area as well as one above the urinal in bathroom so could keep up with intense World Cup action even during the call of nature!! Could easily become a regular here.

Chesapeake, General zao, Cajun Garlic wings. Pretzels with beer cheese- outstanding. They screwed up the order- all wings tasted the same so I can't tell which was what and we didn't have time to wait for them to remake the order. They are still slow. Pretzels excellent.

My wife and I had to search our memories for the last time the service, food and atmosphere was so unappetizing and unprofessional. We honestly couldn't come up with anything as bad. We had a simple order; one 15 wing platter and two Pepsis, two dipping sauces, celery and Texas toast. Most wings are ala carte and there is no option to mix flavors unless you order a 25 wing platter. The wings took at least 25 minutes to get to us. We had to ask the waiter twice for our dipping sauces which never came until only two wings were left in the bowl. Once we were finished eating the wings which, by the way, were bland and barely warm, he brought the celery and Texas toast. Mid-meal, he did offer a refill on our drinks but only brought my wife's drink, leaving my glass empty. Everything about this place seems tacky and hollow. The room is cavernous and loud. The napkins are the cheapest and tiniest patches of paper imaginable and the serving bowls are something you'd find in the cheapest tiki bar. When I brought these shortcomings to the manager's attention, he informed us that he was surprised to hear our comments since the server, "was one of the best we have." He did offer a 25% discount and, oh boy, that sure made up for a junky meal. Not. There's a Buffalo Wild Wings just a few blocks away and they make this restaurant's service and food look like complete amateurs. I wouldn't recommend this eatery to anyone.

The only thing positive to say about our experience last night was the motivation of our server to make all of the wrongs right. Between the ice cold wings, wrong orders, people in our party flat out not getting their order at all and completely disjointed service and utter lack of management involvement I can safely say that we will not be back. Out specific server was equally frustrated with all of the mistakes and lack of support. If not for her help last night we would have walked out long before the meal was complete. Unbelievably poor performance for such a highly billed new restaurant offering in JC. I suggest you just skip this place.

My last experience at East Coast Wings was great! My drinks were poured perfectly and the pub pretzels delicious. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Definitively recommend for a night out with the family or friends.

My husband and I visited on a Sunday evening and sat in the bar. Jon the bartender on shift served us and was very engaging and anxious to please us with the style of beer that we each enjoy. The beer choices were good and so were our wing choices. We had Pepa Dew, Chesapeake and Aspen flavors -they were all great. We had visited ECW several times. This was one of our best experiences. We will return soon.

Went to join a party at around 7:40pm, by 9 pm the only thing that had come out from what I ordered for my self and my son was a beer, fruit punch, and the pretzel appetizer. There were three waitresses for our section (about 12 people in total) and while they were visibly frustrated by whatever was causing the hold up, they were very much running around without a clue how to fix it. Additionally, there were no managers that came by to even offer a sorry. At one point a couple 3-4 people got wings, many of which were ice cold, wrong flavor, or just looked like they had been sitting around for a while. While the restaurant was busy, it wasn't packed by any means and there were plenty of wait staff around. If you want wings and decent service, skip this place & go to BWW around the corner.

Much improved over my last experience. It's apparent that leadership has stepped up their game. Service was great and the food was hot and on time! Great job!

Had an awesome experience. Sat at the bar. They ran out of beer cheese with our pretzels but gave us another cheese. The wings were cold and not dressed when they were brought out. The bartenders got a manager on it. He not only fixed the plate of food, he made no excuses for it. The next tray of wings was amazing. The food was really good and the service was amazing. They were way crowded but we walked right in and sat at the bar. Great place

Met a business associate for lunch here this week and found it to be delightful. Three employees checked to be sure we were happy while we were eating. The place is bright and cheery with orange and yellow walls. The wings were tasty; the best I've had since leaving Buffalo (and those of us who grew up there are picky about our wings). My side salad was also fresh and delicious and a drink came with this lunch special all for under $10. Although it's a sports bar I didn't feel I was in a cave and I was able to hear my colleague without having to scream. Hector the manager was a delight to chat with and took time to listen to my comments and ideas. I plan to bring my family back. Hector promises yummy burgers for my son the meat lover. I tasted my friend's sweet potato fries and they were good. This place is growing rapidly across the country so they must be doing something right! I am frankly astounded by some of the negative reviews I've seen here. I suggest you give them a second chance. I'll be back.

Service was slow. Food was no better than average, however two of the four diners got sick that evening. No drinking in the mix. If you are looking for great wings, try Hokie Smokies.

Sad to say but East Coast Wings last night was a bad experiences. Sat at the bar because of the wait in the dining area. Bar tender took my order for ten wings with celery and blue cheese. Price looks reasonable till one realizes that one of their many sauces, the blue cheese and the celery are all extra. The additional charges brings the price to well over $1.00 per wing which makes them very expensive for our area. Then the wait began. It took over 45 minutes before my order arrived with no blue cheese or celery. I tried to get the bar tenders attention but could not. The wings may have been ok earlier but by the time I started eating them they were cold and dry. When the bar tender finally returned I asked to have the celery and blue cheese removed from my bill. He somewhat reluctantly called a manager to change the tab. When I mentioned my problems to the supervisor he told me to look him up next time I came in and he would make sure I got better service. My trip to this restaurant was so bad there will not be a next time. I am a big fan of wings but East Coast Wings and Grill will not be on my list of places to eat them.

I dined here about a month after opening. Initially the service was quick I didn't have to wait for a table, they were busy the day I went but not that busy and there were open tables.. There were plenty of waiters standing about but the service was unacceptable. Our drinks didn't get refilled, it took an hour+ to get our food. We got there around noon and missed the movie we planned on seeing at 215. The food was good, but there are similar options that offer better service. I briefly considered giving it another chance now that it's been open a whole. However, I recently overheard an ECW employee talking about how they have to come to work early in the mornings but are not aloud to clock in until an hour an a half later. This is wage theft and I will not patronize a business that does this to it's employees. Their food may be ok, but it's not worth putting up with their service or their shady business practices.
